Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of our website and the provision of home electrical services by Grove Pertris ("we," "us," or "our"), a company registered in Malaysia and operating at 62 Jalan Pantai Baru, 59200 Kuala Lumpur. By using our website or engaging us to carry out electrical work at your property, you agree to these Terms.

We encourage you to read these Terms carefully before booking a service visit. If you have any questions, please contact us before proceeding.

1. Services

1.1 Scope of Services

Grove Pertris provides residential electrical services in the Kuala Lumpur and Klang Valley area. Our services include, but are not limited to:

Our services are provided at residential properties within Kuala Lumpur and selected surrounding areas. If you are uncertain whether your property falls within our service area, please contact us before booking.

1.3 Regulatory Compliance

All electrical work carried out by Grove Pertris is performed in accordance with applicable Malaysian electrical regulations, including those administered by the Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga) and relevant provisions of the Electricity Supply Act 1990. We maintain current registration with Suruhanjaya Tenaga and work to MS IEC standards throughout.

2. Booking and Appointments

2.1 Booking Process

A service appointment may be arranged by telephone, email, or via the enquiry form on our website. Receipt of your enquiry does not constitute a confirmed appointment. A booking is confirmed only when we have communicated a specific date and time to you and you have accepted it.

2.2 Access to the Property

You are responsible for ensuring that our technician has safe and suitable access to the relevant areas of the property at the agreed appointment time. This includes ensuring that the main electrical panel is accessible and that any areas to be inspected are reasonably clear.

2.3 Cancellation and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment, please give us as much notice as possible and in any event no less than 24 hours before the scheduled time. Late cancellations may result in a call-out charge to cover the technician's committed time. We will endeavour to offer a suitable alternative appointment promptly.

We reserve the right to reschedule appointments in the event of circumstances outside our reasonable control. In such cases, we will contact you as soon as practicable and arrange an alternative at a mutually convenient time.

3. Pricing and Payment

3.1 Pricing

Prices for our standard services are as stated on our website and in any written quotation provided to you. All prices are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of service delivery but exclusive of any materials or replacement components not specified in advance.

3.2 Additional Work

Where the scope of work changes during a visit — for example, where additional components are found to require replacement — we will discuss this with you and obtain your agreement before proceeding. We will not carry out work beyond the agreed scope without your prior authorisation.

3.3 Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of each service visit unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment by bank transfer, online transfer, or cash. A written receipt or invoice is provided for all completed work.

4. Our Responsibilities

4.1 Standard of Work

We carry out all work with reasonable skill and care, using appropriate tools and materials suitable for each task. Our technicians are qualified and registered as required under applicable Malaysian regulations.

4.2 Written Documentation

Where a written report or summary is included as part of a service (as described for the Home System Observation and Panel Examination Service), this will be delivered to you within a reasonable period following the visit, typically within five working days.

4.3 Limitations

Our observations and written reports reflect the condition of accessible areas of the electrical installation at the time of the visit. We are not able to assess concealed wiring, components within sealed wall cavities, or equipment that is not accessible without specialist dismantling. Our reports do not constitute a structural survey or a certification of the entire electrical installation.

6.1 Our Liability

Our liability in connection with any service visit is limited to the cost of remedying any defect in our own work. We accept liability for damage to the property caused directly by our technicians' negligence during a visit, subject to prompt reporting (see Section 6.3).

6.2 Consequential Loss

We do not accept liability for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of income, business interruption, or loss of enjoyment arising from our services or from any delay in delivering them, except where this cannot be excluded by Malaysian law.

6.3 Reporting Issues

If you consider that our work has caused damage to your property or has not been carried out correctly, please contact us within 14 days of the visit so that we can investigate and address the matter. We take such concerns seriously and will respond promptly.

7. Website Use

Our website is provided for information purposes and to allow you to contact us. We take care to keep the information on our website current and accurate but cannot warrant that it is free from error at all times. Nothing on our website constitutes a binding contractual offer; services are provided only on the basis of a confirmed booking.

You may not use our website for any unlawful purpose, to transmit harmful content, or in any manner that would interfere with its operation or that of associated systems.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our website — including text, design, logos, and photographs — is the property of Grove Pertris or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content without our prior written permission, except where necessary to view it in the normal course of using the website.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Malaysian law. Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms or with our services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website. Changes apply from the date of publication. If you have a confirmed booking in place at the time of any change, the version of the Terms in force at the time of that booking will apply to that service visit.
